Simulation Program was formed in 1976,
during development of the flight simulator for aircraft crew
training. Since then, a number of very successful military
trainers for both operational and tactical training have been
produced. The most notable results in this field are:
- Flight simulators for three types of military aircraft
- Submarine Crew Trainer
- Air War Gaming Simulator
- Family of Tank Driver Trainers
- Anti-Armor Artillery tactical Trainer, etc.
The second line of the Group activities is related to the
development of general simulation tools to be used during
all stages of a complex technical system life-cycle. These
efforts resulted in the original Family of Development Simulators
concept, implemented at large-scale during development of
a naval ship control and navigation systems. Based on those
concepts, general purpose control systems design and implementation
tool has been developed. |
