IMP has a rich tradition in the areas of measuring electrical and non-electrical values. In over three decades of work, numerous measurement devices for industrial and laboratory use have been developed. Electricity industry, water resources management, food processing and chemical industries, various industrial processes, and technical systems are just some among the fields from our production program. Measurement transducers for electrical values are the basis of measurement systems in the Yugoslav power generation industry. For years, IMP has had successful cooperation with leading national laboratories throughout the world in the field of measurement of electrical values. Up to now IMP has achieved its greatest successes by developing the following devices:

  • A primary wattmeter, as a top achievement in precision measurement of electric power, sold to companies in Germany, USA and Canada
  • Some twenty types of electric energy, power, current and voltage measuring devices, licensed to manufacturers of measuring equipment
IMP has developed and commercially manufactured in series, numerous measuring devices and sensors for measuring non-electrical values in industrial and other special applications, for aggressive and explosion-prone environments. The high professional level for our development and manufacturing efforts is ascertained by thousands of flowmeters, level meters and indicators, pressure and temperature measuring devices, as well as metal detectors, proximity switches, sold to Yugoslav and foreign customers to ensure reliable monitoring and control of various industrial processes. Our latest achievement is the high temperature stabilized massecuite concentration meter for the sugar industry.
