RMD-W Robot Control
Software provides for robotcontrol, robot programming, and the supervision
of its operation through a user interface. The number of robot joint axes
to be controlled can be easily changed in the range 1 -8. Robot control
is realized on an embedded robot controller PC based controller) providing
for modular robot design. The function of comfortable robot programming,
teaching, and operation supervision is realized on a separate PC computer
under Windows NT operating system. These two computers are interconnected
by a serial line. Robot is programmed in RMD-W Robot Language with more
than 60 robot commands, providing for sy and comfortable robot programming.
Robot motin includes motion between two points with four different acceleration
profiles, and continuous path motion between arbitrary number of points.
The user interface provides for simple teaching and storing of robot tasks.
A special advantage of RMD-W Robot Control System is easy testing of the
system operation by means of the acquisition of relevant system variables
and signals within a specified time period. The acquired data is stored
on the PC computer under Windows NT operating system and a MATLAB program
for the graphical presentation of the data is automatically generated.
An on-line help utility offers complete information on all robot language
commands and general information about the system. Robot controller parameters
are easily changeable using special user interface options. RMD-W Robot
Control Software is a modern and a versatile control system, convenient
for a large number of industrial applications.
