Access Control for Garages and Parking Lots

Mihailo Pupin Institute has developed and produced several types of parking systems for garages and parking lots such as:

• Parking system based on magnetic tickets,

• Parking system based on SMART cards,

• Parking system based on bar-code tickets,

• Parking system based on paper printed tickets.

Systems are designed to support several entries and exits. All systems are based on PC technologies. PC computer, together with appropriate electronic devices, controls all processes in the garage/parking lot, such as:

• Collection of parking fees,

• Monitoring of the fee collectors work,

• Control of the barriers and changeable signs and traffic lights inside or outside the garage/parking lot,

• Surveillance of garage/parking lot occupancy and automatic displaying of the information,

• Continuous monitoring of equipment operation and issuing of appropriate alarms,

• Producing of various statistic reports and reviews on all events related to the garage/parking lot usage.
