GPS SPIDER system
enables you to monitor your vehicles in real-time (as they
move), indicating on map displays speed, heading, and GPS-determined
location of vehicles down to the street level. In the same
time, GPS SPIDER empowers you to have a full insight on
the state of your vehicles based on data received from various
in-vehicle sensors or peripheral devices.
GPS SPIDER is an open architecture system
that can be applied in wide variety of applications, ranging
from simple passive AVL device installed in one vehicle
to systems with several hundred vehicles and multiple Control
Centers. The system is designed in such flexible manner
that it can be easily scaled up, and quickly adapted to
nearly any AVL requirement. Due to system’s modularity,
communication between vehicles and the Control Centre can
be established in two manners:
• Through standard GSM network
• Through private
VHF/UHF two-way radio network
GPS SPIDER Control Centre Software’s
event monitoring and history analysis features are helping
fleet operator to become quickly aware of potential problems
in the fleet management, and to respond to them promptly
by issuing appropriate commands to the drivers through voice
communication or two-way instant messaging.
