The Agreement on business and technical cooperation with the Tax Administration signed

On Friday, February 5th, the Agreement on business and technical cooperation with the Tax Administration of the Republic of Serbia was signed. Interpretation of the Law on Public Procurement stipulates that some of the provisions of this law do not apply to the procurement performed by the Institute as it is a state owned company. This enables direct contracting procedure in providing services to the governmental bodies, in this case, to the Tax Administration of the Republic of Serbia.

Serbian Tax Administration Office and the Institute have cooperated for more than 20 years in the domain of development and implementation of the Information system of the Tax Administration of the Republic of Serbia. This Agreement creates opportunities and conditions for the realization of projects in the field of information and communication technologies, with respect to the Strategic Development Plan for a unified information system of Tax administration (2009 -2011), and Development Strategy of the Information society in Serbia, which was brought by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.  

Realisation of this Agreement, among other things, predicts the possibility to close contracts for provision of consulting and design services, for participation in development, preparation, assessment, auditing and monitoring of projects, implementation and evaluation of projected solutions and systems, as well as training of staff in the field of information and communication technologies, design and management of business processes and quality management system, especially the quality of services.
