Special Award Granted to Sanja Popovic-Pantic for Women’s Entrepreneurship Development

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Association of Business Women of Serbia , a special award of the Ministry  of Economy and Regional Development was granted to the president of the Association, Sanja Popović-Pantić.  This kind of award was granted for the first time in Serbia and  the State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, Jasna Mitić, handed Sanja Popović-Pantić the award.

In the explanation, it was brought forward that this award was granted for the special contribution and achievements with the objective to recognize the importance of the women’s entrepreneurship in the entire economic development of Serbia.

The president is the author and initiator of the award “Success flower for the dragon woman”, as well as the whole range of projects oriented towards the economic empowerment of women and researches on the economic position of women in the labour market  and in entrepreneurship.
Mr Sanja Popović-Pantić has worked at the Institute ”Mihailo Pupin” within the Centre for Research of Develpment of Science and Technology since 1997.
