The 14th Symposium on Management and Telecommunications in Electric Power Systems was held on Tara mountain, at the hotel „Omorika“ from the 16th to the 18th of June, 2008. During the opening ceremony of the Symposium, Mr. Milenko Nikolic as a representative of the „Mihailo Pupin” Institute which was a sponsor of this Symposium, received a letter of appreciation. An outstanding presentation of the company was held and after that a cocktail was given at our booth.

As during the previous participations on the manifestations which are organized by the International Council on Large Electric Systems CIGRE, the „Mihailo Pupin” Institute had a prominent role not only when session papers on conferences are concerned (the Institute’s associates had 8 papers) but when the participation in the work of round tables and when the display area as a part of the paralel exibition are concerned. Apart from the well-known products and services of the Institute launched in the system of electric power industry, the special intention was paid on the completely new distributed video system Omnisight, intended to be used for the visualizations in control centers.
