His Excellency Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe paid a visit to the Institute Mihailo Pupin on Friday, June 13th. Dr. Aleksandar Popović, the Serbian Minister of Energetic also attended this meeting and the distinguished guests were received by the Director of the Institute Dr. Vladan Batanović and his deputy Mr. Jovan Kon. During the visit, guests toured the production sites where the equipment for reconstruction of thermal and hydro power plants and pay toll stations were being assembled and prepared for delivery.


The parties had talks about the possiblities for establishing cooperation between the Institute and companies from Ghana, especially in the field of energetics and road industry.
Ghana is one of the economically most prosperous countries in the West Africa. It is politically the most stable country and it is legally-governed. During the last few years, the economy of Ghana has been undergoing significant progress owing to the reform program and creation of the attractive investment environment for foreign partners.
Bilateral political cooperation with Ghana, traditionally based on friendly relations, has started since Ghana became the independent country in 1957. Thereafter, the diplomatic relations between Ghana and our country have been established.
