By the Contract, signed today between Institute Mihailo Pupin and the company Univerzal Monte from Podgorica, it was settled that the IMP pay toll system would make its debut in Montenegro.

Namely, after completing construction works, the road from Trebinje to Herceg Novi, 40 km long, will become a modern transport route. It was envisaged to implement the open pay toll system along this road and the implementation will be realized by the IMP experts. The system will be installed on the recently built pay toll plaza „Granica“ which will have a head office and two pay toll booths with three lanes.

The users would be able to choose betwen manual and electronic payment of the toll. All construction works should be completed by the beginning of the summer season. Therefore, the shortest road distance from Bosnia & Herzegovina and Serbia to the Montenegro coastline will be ready for the first tourists.
