After 40 successful years spent in the Institute academician Vukobratovic was presented with for life award at the ceremony held on 26th of September in Mihailo Pupin Institute. Great hall was full of guests wishing to pay tribute to our best known scientist in the field of robotics.

The gathering was addressed by Dr. Aleksa Zejak, Deputy Minister, and guests were greeted by General Manager Dr. Vladan Batanovic and President of the Institute’s Steering Committee Dr.Veljko Potkonjak who presented the Institute Mihailo Pupin award to academician Vukobratovic.

Academician Miomir Vukobratovic is the founder of well known ’’Belgrade School of Robotics’’, two times Ph. D., member of the Serbian, Russian and more than ten foreign academies of sciences and one of the most citied scientists in this part of world with more than 2000 citations.
