New challenge in Thermal Power Plant Operation – 300 MW block in TPP Nikola Tesla

Only a month after completion of the technological and ecological modernization of A1 block in Nikola Tesla Thermal Power Plant in Obrenovac the new contract has been signed with Electric Power Company of Serbia for the reconstruction of block A4. After the successful modernization of two smaller capacity blocks - A2 and A1 of Nikola Tesla Thermal Power Plant and one block in TPP Morava, Institute's experts have won their fourth, very important reference in the supervisory control of thermal power plants - this time for 300 MW block.

 

Electric Power Industry of Serbia entrusted once again the modernization of its plants to domestic companies and by its former achievements in the area of Computer Controlled Thermal Power Plant Operation Institute Mihailo Pupin has proved that it is able to compete with big international companies both in price and quality of works performed.

 

The new contract covers design, delivery and installation of equipment, SCADA software, testing and implementation of the new system. The deadline for the whole project is November 2007.

 

 

The contract was signed by,

Boško Buha, General Manager of TPP "Nikola Tesla" and mr Milenko Nikolic, Manager of IMP - Automation & Control Systems Ltd..
