On Friday, November 3, the completion of the technological and ecological modernization of A1 block was celebrated at the Nikola Tesla Thermal Power Plant in Obrenovac. Continuing its traditional practice, the Electric Power Industry of Serbia entrusted the modernization of its plants predominantly to domestic companies and institutes, justifying thus its reputation of the largest investor in Serbian economy.

By completing this 210MW block capital repair project the Mihajlo Pupin Institute's experts have won their third, very important reference in the supervisory control of thermal power plants. Once again, they finished their work as scheduled and demonstrated exceptional efforts and successful cooperation with the Nikola Tesla Plant's staff.

This celebration was attended by Mr. Radomir Naumov, Mining and Energy Minister, Mr. Aleksandar Popovic, Ph.D., Science and Environmental Protection Minister, Mr. Vladimir Ðordevic, Ph.D., Director of the Electric Power Industry of Serbia, Mr. Boško Buha, Director of the Nikola Tesla Thermal Power Plant, and the representatives of the contractor, Obrenovac local government, etc.
