Prof.
Sanja Vranes PhD, is jointly appointed as a Scientific
Director of the Mihailo Pupin Institute and as a Professor of
Computer Science at the University of Belgrade. She is in charge
for Fraunhofer-Pupin Joint Project Office, established in 2003.
From 1999 she has also been engaged as a United Nations Expert
for information technologies. She received Dipl. Eng. Degree
in Electrical Engineering and MSc and PhD in Computer Science
all from the University of Belgrade. Her research interests
include semantic web, intelligent agents, decision support systems,
multicriteria analysis algorithms, etc. In these areas she published
over 140 scientific papers. She serves as a reviewer of respectable
international journals, like IEEE Transaction on Computer, IEEE
Intelligent Systems magazine, etc. She was a visiting professor
at the University of Bristol, England during the 1993 and 1994
years. In the period 1999-2004 she was a Scientific Consultant
at the ICS-UNIDO, International Center for Sceince and High
Technology in Trieste Italy. She also served as a project leader
and/or principal architect of more than 20 complex software
projects. Currently, she coordinates one EC Sixth Framework
project and serves as a team leader in two other FP6 projects
and two Interreg/CADSES projects. She is a member of IEEE, ACM
and AAAI. She is a member of Serbian Academy of Engineering
Science and National Science Council.

Dr. Mladen Stanojević is a Senior Research
Associate at the Mihailo Pupin Institute. He received his MSc
degree in the field of belief revision/truth maintenance and
PhD in the area of natural language processing, both from the
University of Belgrade. He has been working on semantic web
applications, complex business web applications, real-world
decision support systems, etc. His research interests include
semantic knowledge representation and processing techniques,
natural language processing techniques, machine learning, artificial
neural networks, semantic web, web services, expert systems,
decision support systems, multicriteria analysis algorithms,
etc. In these areas he published over 70 scientific papers.

Dr. Violeta Tomašević is
a Senior Research Associate at the Mihailo Pupin Institute.
She received her MSc degree in the field of expert systems in
1994 and PhD degree in the area of cryptology in 2005, both
from the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade.
Her research interests include semantic web, web services, expert
systems (particularly explanation systems), decision support
systems, cryptology (particularly cryptanalysis), etc. In these
areas she has published more than 40 scientific papers. She
took part in a number of research projects (three European-funded
projects, several projects financed by the Ministry of Science
and Technology of Serbia and tenth complex software projects
founded by customers).

Dejan Paunović, Dipl. Ing, has received
a Dipl. Ing. degree in 2000 at the School of Electrical Engineering,
University of Belgrade. After several months with the Delta
Sport company, he has been employed with the Mihajlo Pupin Institute
since 2003. He took part in the design and implementation of
FIDES (financial decision support system, 2003), CyberSchool
(course management system, 2003-2004), WiseChoice (multi-criteria
decision support system, 2004), 1000 Technologies (web repository
of Serbian scientific institutions, 2005), SARIB (SAva RIver
Basin, 2004-2007). He has experience in enterprise application
software development, web application architecture, client/server
programming, database and web development. He also took part
in several projects financed by the Ministry of Science and
Environmental Protection of Serbia. His interests include programming
languages, databases, algorithms, web technology design and
implementation, and are focused on the design, analysis and
implementation of software systems.

Jelena Jovanović, finished
university of Mathematics, group for computer science, in Belgrade,
Serbia. Since 2002, she has been employed with the Mihajlo Pupin
Institute. She took part in design and implementation of CyberSchool
(School management system, 2003), WiseChoice (multi-criteria
decision support system, 2004), SARIB (SAva River Basin: Sustainable
Use, Management and Protection of Ressources, 2004–2007)
and Prometea web portal (project “Empowering women engineers”
2005-2007). She also took part in several projects financed
by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Serbia. She has
experience in developing software using Java, EJB, JavaServlet,
MySql, HTML, JSP. She speaks English and German.
